…and the winner is..

Climaveneta for “International Achievement of the Year”!

The winners of the 13th edition of the RAC Cooling Industry Awards 2017 were revealed on September 27th at the prestigious London Hilton, Park Lane, where the key players in the industry came together for a night of recognition and celebration of the sector’s achievements. With 16 categories, the awards cover every aspect of the refrigeration and cooling industry.

Mitsubishi Electric Hydronics & IT Cooling Systems, through its brand Climaveneta, won the International Achievement of the Year, with Loccioni Leaf Lab, A+ class building in Ancona, Italy, that produces the same amount of CO2 as a car with 100 thousand kilometres a year. This means that the structure has extremely low emissions. All the energy produced comes from renewable sources: on the roof, there is a 250 Kw solar panel, and the building’s HVAC system is based on three Climaveneta NECS-WN reversible heat pumps that use one of the natural resources of the territory: the Esino river.
